This channel is for the IOTA and Shimmer ecosystem. Please keep the discussion to content that is relevant to IOTA and Shimmer.
Try to stay on topic and avoid excessive off-topic content. Only links to project pages or articles/tweets about projects using IOTA or Shimmer technology are allowed.
Avoid spamming, posting unrelated content, or investment advice, and telling others to buy or sell any assets.
Refrain from posting any material that isn't "family-friendly."
No impersonation or obfuscation and no fake news/screenshots.
Constructive Discussion
Keep the discussion respectful and constructive. Tolerate other people's opinions, even if they compete with your own ideas or favorite projects.
Questions about developments and progress should be constructive and sincere. Be prepared to provide sources and back up your claims if you criticize a project.
No Spam or Advertising
Advertising or self-promotion is not allowed, unless it is directly related to the IOTA and Shimmer technology. We only allow projects that use the IOTA/Shimmer technology to inform the community of their progress.
Never ask for funding or advertise fundraising or ICO sales or similar offerings of a project. Promoting tokens or other investments is not allowed.
If you wish to discuss a specific project in the IOTA/Shimmer ecosystem, provide general information about it and be ready to answer questions about your motives and the technical implementations of the project to help the community evaluate the project.
Always provide context if you share a link to a project. Otherwise, it may be deleted.
No donation requests, Discord or Telegram invites, ICO, STO, Airdrop announcements.
No pitches for investors.
No affiliate links.
Refrain from continuously posting the same links or information. Spamming will not be tolerated.
Moderators and Content Control
If you encounter any issues or see rule violations, please report them to the moderators to help us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Follow the directions and decisions of the moderators.
Moderators may delete posts, mute, or remove members who violate these rules.
Arguing with moderators publicly will not be tolerated. Please reach out to the moderators privately if you wish to discuss any issues with them.
Security Considerations
If you become aware of any suspicious behavior, please report it to our moderators.
The team will never initiate a direct message (DM) with you.
Do NOT use online recovery phrase/seed generators or any other tools that offer such services (e.g., alternative wallets) unless you fully trust the party offering them. By doing so, you are giving access to your funds.
Do not share any information or social media accounts that may contain personal details.
We will never ask you to transfer or exchange funds for us. Do not trust any DM you receive with a similar request.
RP2 the IOTA Foundation, or any other "helper" will never ask for your password or recovery phrase. Please notify the moderators immediately if you receive such requests.
Remember that in the crypto space, you are your own bank and are responsible for researching the applications you use. RP2 cannot guarantee the security or functionality of projects discussed in this channel.
